Our attorneys come from all over the region and from all areas of practice. They serve as clinic attorneys or referral attorneys. We presently have 15 clinic attorneys who agree to serve at the clinic one day a month. Our list of referral attorneys is growing and presently includes five of the largest law firms in Center City. We provide training and resources to our attorneys to enable them to feel comfortable in areas of law outside their typical practice. Be a Clinic Attorney
We need attorneys willing to volunteer for service at community centers and churches in Philadelphia.
Be a Referral Attorney
We need attorneys and firms willing to consider accepting referrals of clinic clients on a pro bono or reduced fee basis. Clients have met with an attorney, a legal problem has been identified, and the client’s low income status has been verified.
Be an Interpreter
If you are fluent in another language, consider interpreting either in-person or over the telephone.
Be a Donor
Our attorneys volunteer their time and our host ministries donate their space to us. However, as the ministry has grown, we have found the need for on-site coordination for effective follow up with the many clients we see.
