Pennsylvania Criminal Defense Lawyer

Pete Hileman is the Executive Director of CLCP and a trial attorney with over 30 years of experience. He is a founding partner of his law firm and a former prosecutor, named a ‘Super Lawyer’ in Philadelphia magazine. Pete is currently working towards his certification with Peacemaker Ministries.

A founding attorney of his firm, Pete’s primary areas of practice include personal injury, general civil, criminal and commercial litigation.  Pete is a Board Certified civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has obtained successful jury verdicts in Federal Court, as well as Philadelphia, Bucks, Lehigh, Northampton, Monroe, Montgomery, Chester, and Luzerne County Courts. He was a Deputy District Attorney of Bucks County from 1980 to 1983.

Ted Oswald

Ted Oswald is the first recipient of CLCP’s Incarnational Legal Fellowship. A graduate from the Earle Mack School of Law at Drexel University in 2011, he graduated from the University of California, Davis and has a graduate diploma in Forced Migration and Refugee Studies from the American University in Cairo. His studies in law school focused upon immigration advocacy, environmental justice and international human rights law. He lives in the Hunting Park neighborhood where CLCP’s offices and the Ayuda Community Center Legal Clinic are based.
